一張不知名的兒童樂團耶誕專輯﹐樂團就簡單只以Do-Re-Mi Sing Along Children’s Chorus為名﹐從音樂的編曲與錄音﹐大約出版於50年代早期。

他們出版的唱片不多﹐估計是 Kapp或是Decca的錄音﹐因為參與專輯的編曲人Marty Gold於50年代中期已簽約RCA。筆者於80年代購入這張由MCA出版黑膠的唱片﹐其後坊間也有CD出版﹐但是卻擔心香港版的CD聲效一向不佳而沒有購買﹐當首次到美國旅行時﹐便曾在各大唱片店搜尋這張CD卻不果。年前在網上發現了Universal以低價出版此CD ﹐立刻訂購﹐然而曲目方面跟唱片有頗大的分別。

此張Here Comes Santa Claus專輯的歌曲﹐平圴由年齡11歲的兒童演唱﹐故充滿快樂氣氛﹐除了一貫的傳統耶誕歌曲外﹐也有童真歌曲All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth﹑Done Esta Santa Claus及I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus等。合唱團成員年紀雖小﹐然而卻沒有走音﹐故現今流行樂壇選用兒童走音演唱就視為童真活潑實在可笑﹐也令人耳朵活受罪。不過50年代已屆11歲的兒童﹐到現今已是60多歲的老頭了。

Frosty the Snow Man ﹕只因Gene Autry主唱的Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer單曲銷售量達200萬張﹐故Steve Nelson及 Jack Rollins於1950年為Gene Autry寫下此首有趣耶誕歌曲。
