1964年﹐Gerry & Pacemakers 美國除了在Ed Sullivan Show 亮相之外﹐也開始在當地演唱﹐其後還到澳洲及新西蘭登台﹐這不單打開了美國市場﹐也在當地延續了比英國更長的受歡迎程度。Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying 得到Billboard第4位﹐也帶起之前的單曲 How Do You Do It 及 I Like it 上榜。

9月3日﹐Gerry & The Pacemakers 在英國發了第6張單曲“It’s Gonna Be Alright”﹐這首來自電影“Ferry Cross The Mercy”的插曲﹐也是該樂隊節奏最重型的歌曲﹐不過在流行榜的成績﹐也意味著他們受歡迎程度開始走下坡﹐而該電影本來想步 Beatles 拍電影 A Hard Day’s Night 取得成功的方式﹐可惜同人不同命﹐電影衹為他們帶來了兩首流行插曲﹐除了It’s Gonna Be Alright之外﹐還有同名主題曲 Ferry Cross The Mercy﹐這也是12月時所發的第7張單曲。

同一個月﹐EMI 即把It’s Gonna Be Alright 的 A/B Side再加上兩首How Do You Do It (1963/EMI Columbia) 專輯的 Album, Track﹐發行了他們的5張EP﹐不過這張EP沒有登上流行榜。

1965年3月﹐EMI Columbia 繼一張 Live Recording EP 之後﹐再次把 It’s Gonna Be Alright 作 EP發行﹐成為樂隊的第7張EP﹐不過其餘3首歌曲﹐卻換上了電影的主題曲 Ferry Cross The Mercy﹐及兩首“Ferry Cross The Mercy”(1965/EMI Columbia) 專輯的 Album Track﹐然而這張EP在流行榜還是起不了作用。之後 Gerry & Pacemakers 再出版了 Rit It Up﹐也是他們第8張﹐也是最後一張EP了。

Ferry Cross The Mercy 在1983年被 Frankie Goes To Hollywood 翻唱過﹐他們的版本收錄於 Relax 12” Single 的 B Side。其後1989年﹐又被一眾Liverpool 群星翻唱﹐作為籌款單曲﹐登上英國流行榜3星期冠軍﹐他們包括了The Christians﹑Holly Johnson 及 Stock Aitken Waterman﹐ 還有Gerry Marsden 及Paul McCartney。
