1976年6月25日﹐英國也為 Beatles 首次發行單曲“Back In The U.S.S.R”﹐得到流行榜第19位﹐其B Side 是取自“Please Please Me”(1963/Parlophone) 專輯中的“Twist And Shout”﹐它曾由Tollie唱片於1964年在美國發行的4星期Billboard 亞軍 A Side。

Back In The U.S.S.R 取自“The Beatles (White Album)”(1968/Apple) 專輯的歌曲﹐由 Paul McCartney所寫﹐這一首類似 Beach Boys 的歌曲﹐也是向 Chuck Berry 的“Back in the U.S.A.”(1959/Chess) 作出致敬。灌錄時正值 Ringo Starr 宣佈離團﹐故此他的打鼓部份均由 Paul 取代。
