來自Beatles在英國的第20張單曲Ballad Of John & Yoko﹐也是他們在英國首張Stereo Single﹐於1969年5月30日在英國發行。

自1966年11月﹐John Lennon 與 Yoko Ono 結識﹔到1968年5月開始交往﹐然後 John 與Cynthia 離婚﹐再到1969年3月20日兩人成婚。因為 Yoko 不是英國公民﹐故此他們不能在 Southhamton 結婚﹐結果改為鄰近西班牙的英屬Gibraltar﹐而4月22日﹐John Lennon 也公佈加入 Ono作為他的 Middle Name﹐於是他的名字就變成了John Winston Ono Lennon。

婚後3星期﹐John 就與 Paul 在錄音室花了一天時間﹐把歌曲Ballad of John and Yoko錄成﹐甚至包括了混音﹐故此這首由John 創作的歌曲只有兩位 Betales 參與。它一出版﹐就遭BBC 及美國一些電台禁播﹐只因副歌之中有一個 Chris (基督) 字﹐然而此曲還是在英國取得3星期冠軍﹐至於美國到6月4日才發售﹐ 成績稍遜﹐得到Billboard第8位。部份Ballad Of John & Yoko 的單曲﹐除了Beatles 四人之外﹐也有 Yoko Ono﹐不過為樂迷所反對。
