雖然Beatles 來自英國﹐然而他們在美國出版的單曲數量遠比他們的老家要多﹐1966年2月21日﹐Capitol 又為他們發行了一張美國單曲 - Nowhere Man。

Nowhere Man 是一首主要由 John Lennon 創作的歌曲﹐談及的內容也不再是情情愛愛。正當他為 Rubber Soul 專輯創作另一首歌時﹐他花了5個小時﹐期望寫一首有意義的歌﹐可是絞盡腦汁﹐還是沒有靈感﹐於是他決定躺下並停止再想﹐這時 Nowhere Man 的旋律與歌詞就在腦海裡湧上來了。Nowhere Man 在美國Billboard 登上季軍位置。

Nowhere Man ﹕它收錄於英國的“Rubber Soul”(1965/Parlophone) 專輯中﹐在美國則收錄於“Yesterday and Today”(1966/Capitol) 專輯中。

Nowhere Man 的 B Side 是What Goes On﹐這首歌曲除了由 John Lennon 及 Paul McCartney 創作﹐也罕有地加入 Ringo Starr。這首很 Country Style 的歌曲﹐延續了上一張單曲 B Side的 Act Naturally味道﹐並且同樣由 Ringo Starr 主唱﹐不過原來它最原裝的版本是由 John Lennon 在早期 Quarrymen 時的創作。What Goes On 登上 Billboard 第81位。
