1965年7 月﹐ Parlophone 跟 Capitol 繼發行“Ticket To Ride”單曲之後﹐同時到再從電影 Help 中﹐抽取同名主題歌“Help”成為單曲。

Help 在公映前﹐名字方面曾有幾個方案﹐分別是“Beatles 2”﹑“Beatles Production 2”﹑“Eight Arms To Hold You”及“High-Heeled Knickers”﹐故此“Ticket To Ride”的單曲曾註明“From The United Artists release Eight Arms to Hold You”﹐可是最後定案是“Help”。

Help 主要由 John Lennon 創作﹐根據1970年一個訪問﹐他認為 Help 與 Strawberry Fields Forever 是他唯二的歌曲﹐乃是根據他的生活經歷而寫成﹐其實當時John Lennon對於自己火速成名的感覺很不自然。Help 分別於英國在7月23日及在美國於 8月14日出版﹐兩地均取得3星期冠軍。

對於 John Lennon 來說﹐他認為此曲的 Tempo 應比現有版本稍慢﹐相信若他能在1984年聽過 Tina Turner 的版本﹐或許會更滿意﹐可惜他已逝世多年。其後 Bananarama 也有一個翻唱版﹐在英國流行榜也有不俗的成績。

Help﹕由 Tina Turner 翻唱 (1984/Capitol)﹐取得英國流行榜第40位﹐之後收錄於“Private Dancer”(1984/Capitol) 專輯中。
