當Beatles 因為得到首張冠軍單曲而高興的時候﹐他們可能沒想到以後的日子更加風光。

1963年8月23日Parlophone 為他們發行了全新單曲 She Loves You﹐這是他們在英國最暢銷的單曲﹐也是1963年銷量最高的單曲﹐單是1963年在英國銷量已超過130萬張﹐直到1977年之前﹐仍是英國史上最暢銷的單曲﹐不過打破這紀錄的是自己人﹐那是 Paul McCartney 的 Mull Of Kintyre。

寫She Loves You 是 Paul 的想法﹐在一次 Newcastle 的表演旅程﹐Paul 想起一首由Bobby Rydell 主唱 的 Forget Him﹐於是他就想到寫一首回應的歌曲﹐但是他不希望單單寫 I Love You¸於是就以第三身稱來寫﹐後來 Paul 與 John 回到酒店房間就把這首歌寫成了。

She Loves You 得到英國流行榜4星期冠軍﹐之後回落再登上冠軍位置兩星期。德國 Parlophone 有見及此﹐也要求他們灌錄德語版﹐於是這首“Sie liebt dich”就成為了“I Want To Hold Your Hand”德語版“Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand”的 B Side﹐ 由 EMI 另一廠牌 Odeon 發行﹐至於美國方面﹐“Sie liebt dich”則是 A Side﹐ 背面仍然保留英語歌I’ll Get You﹐由 Swan 發行。

回說 She Loves You﹐在美國由 Swan 發行並不成功﹐甚至在 Dick Clark 的電視節目American Bandstand中試播﹐ Beatles 的髮型即換來青年人的嘲笑﹐但藉著1964年裡 I Want To Your Hand 的熱潮﹐在4月4日Beatles 連環5張單曲雄霸 Billboard 頭5位﹐這張單曲便是其中之一﹐其且得到美國 Billboard 兩星期冠軍。
