CCR 原名Creedence Clearwater Revival﹐可說是由John Fogerty 一手操控的樂團。他們組成於1967年﹐雖然5 年的光景便解散了﹐不過5年內精彩的歌曲實在不少。

1969年的“Proud Mary” 便是Tina Turner經常演唱的歌曲﹐還有Bad Moon Rising等等。當年姐姐從朋友借來2張他們的單曲﹐便是“Travellin’ Band” b/w “Who’ll Stop The Rain” 及 “ Sweet Hitch-Hiker”。印象中她跟哥哥都不太喜歡﹐不過筆者聽到後﹐卻是愛不釋手﹐然而哥哥後來還是把老老它們錄在卡帶中。Travellin’ Band及Sweet Hitch-Hiker都是節奏很快及印拍強勁﹐有別當年的歌曲﹐而當時TVB也曾播他們的MV﹐所以對筆者來說﹐印象深刻。

Sweet Hitch-a-Hiker: 1971年的歌曲﹐Billboard單曲榜第6位﹐唱片一開首便是跑車的音效﹐再轉入勁Rock的節奏﹐在當年來說﹐都頗“飛仔 (香港60/70年代對阿飛的說法)”。

Have You Ever Seen The Rain: 同是1971年CCR的歌曲﹐不過筆者首次認識此曲卻是來自歐洲跳舞組合Boney M的1977年版本﹐而1983年Bonnie Tyler加盟 CBS唱片的首張專輯“Faster Than the Speed of Night ” 內也曾收錄。
