1985年 Sire從 Like A Virgin專輯抽取了第四首歌曲 Dress You Up作單曲發行﹐這也是該專輯最後的一張單曲﹐在英美兩地﹐均取得流行榜第5位。

早在 Like A Virgin取得冠軍時﹐許多樂評人對 Madonna並不看好﹐並且評定她只是 One Hit Wonder﹐然而她的氣勢卻像瞬雷不及掩耳般﹐取得樂迷歡心﹐並且在流行榜得到佳績。英國方面﹐對 Madonna 的歌曲更加渴求﹐Holiday再次發行﹐得到流行榜第2位﹐Geffen有見及此﹐立刻為Vision Quest電影原聲帶專輯的另一首 Madonna歌曲 Gambler 作單曲發行﹐打上第4位。1986年初﹐Sire又再度發行 Borderline﹐也輕易取得第2位。當年筆者除了喜歡她的 Remix歌曲外﹐也在這張12” Single中喜歡上她的慢歌 Shoo-Bee-Doo﹐覺得這首歌曲不錯聽。
