這張唱片﹐我以前常見到﹐特別在旺角新興唱片﹐應是全新的﹐可是我不懂找緊機會﹐想不到後來新興倒了﹐所以就沒有了。其實我都頗喜歡她的國語歌曲﹐嗓音很獨特﹐但又不造作。

I remember her other sister who also was a singer 鍾露露.

我未聽過鍾露露﹐當時我只知道鍾曉薇是她姊姊而已﹐她也有灌錄唱片嗎﹖

I don't know if she ever had her record. There was a time that she appeared on 'Enjoy Yourself Tonite' every once in a while. I remember vaguely there was a write up about the sisters in one of the TVB Weekly.

Betty was singing for Winston in one of the commerical and the lyrics goes ... 'Winston tastes good like a cigarette should'. She looks so nice in that clip. I always think she and her sisters are very beautiful women.

我也記得那雲絲頓香煙的廣告歌呢。我聽鍾玲玲的歌不算多﹐但是卻很喜歡她的歌聲。數月前﹐TVB有一個訪問﹐邀請了她作嘉賓﹐她在美國的生活頗逍遙的﹐可是樣子變了許多﹐若然在當地碰到她﹐誰也沒法想像這平凡的婦人﹐竟是當年歌壇中耀眼的明星呢。

That's life in North America. Once you arrived you basically start from stretch again. Nobody knows you and nobody cares who you 'were'. For the past 21 years in Toronot I've came across a few HK celebraties some of them were so low profile that they weren't even wearing any make in the public. It's quite a funny feeling when you are standing next to someone you use to see on TV or movie and the person is humbly searching for a bargin in the mall right next to you.

或者當他們都過厭了星光的生活後﹐都很享受平淡的生活吧。就如鍾玲玲的訪問﹐她看來活得頗開心的。主持人訪問她﹐香港懷舊風起﹐會否回來開一下演唱會﹐她想也不想就回答不會了﹐可見她對過去並沒有留戀。
