筆者很喜歡各類型的音樂﹐回想起在不同年代﹐似乎也頗留意跳舞音樂﹐包括70年代的 Disco﹑80 年代的 Euro-Beat 及 90年代的 Techno﹑Trance 等﹐當然還有近年的 Hip Hop。1999年一位愛好音樂的同事介紹及借了一張專輯給我﹐筆者非常感興趣﹐於是自己也買來了這張 Space Brothers 的 Trance 專輯 Shine (1999/Mercury) 。

筆者對 Space Brothers 所知不多﹐翻查資料時﹐發現原來他們由創作人/監製 Ricky Simmonds 及 Stephen Jones 兩人組成﹐而 Shine 是他們的第一張專輯。開始時名混音師 Paul Oakenfold 本想與他們簽約﹐後來卻因種種原因而沒有成事﹐不過後來卻改為替他們把 Shine 專輯的歌曲 Remix﹐成為隨專輯附送的 Bonus Disc。近年 Space Brothers 仍參與不少音樂 Project﹐主要仍是 Trance Music。
