2002年因為又要到美國總公司出差﹐某天晚飯後﹐老闆載我回酒店﹐她那初中的兒子在跟我談音樂﹐並且問我喜歡那些歌手和樂團。

當我知道他很喜歡Dave Matthews Band及鄉謠音樂﹐在年紀與文化地域差異下﹐筆者當然答不上咀﹐不過後來他問﹕“你聽過Pink 嗎﹖”
“沒有啊﹗”心還在想“甚麼來的? 是樂團嗎﹖”
對方跟我老闆一起很疑惑的再問﹕“你竟然未聽過嗎﹖”
我回答﹕“沒有啊﹐你是指 Pink Floyd嗎﹖”
他們一起叫﹕“不﹗”接著便唱“I'm coming up so you better get this party started ”。

原來Pink是一名美國的新晉女歌手﹐而他們所唱的就是當時上榜歌曲“Get The Party Started” 。雖然狠狠的輸了一仗﹐但很有趣﹐也記憶猶新﹐後來自己聽到這首歌曲後﹐覺得是一首還不錯的糖衣歌曲﹐於是回港後便貪玩買了一張台灣的進口版單曲﹐同時也把歌曲Email了給老闆及她的兒子。想不到換來的回答是“你怎麼會有的﹖”“哈﹐我買了單曲﹐原來你們沒有嗎﹖”“還沒有啊﹗”她的兒子收到後﹐竟然歡喜若狂﹐而我呢﹖這次卻反敗為勝了。

台灣方面把 Pink譯成“紅粉佳人”﹐而單曲的名稱就被翻成“大家來尬舞” ﹐這也是自己第一次看到“尬舞” 這個詞語。歌曲打進美國流行榜第4位﹐而英國方面得到亞軍。雖然這首歌曲非常搶耳﹐但是 Pink這類至潮形像不是筆者的杯中茶﹐所以這就是自己唯一一張 Pink 的單曲。
