■【台語創作藝術歌曲集】與【月娘半屏圓】出版記序 
Foreword on ''Taiwanese Art Songs'' and ''Half Moon''publications: 
 
　很榮幸有機會負責素所景仰的倆位音樂家─蕭泰然教授與林福裕老師創作的【台語創作藝術歌曲集】之編輯美工與出版事宜；這倆位旅美台灣人音樂家，多年來用音符與心血默默地譜寫故鄉台灣的鄉土之美，此曲集正是他們醞釀的結晶。 
It has been my great honor to take the opportunity for editing, producing as well as prepared artwork for our most adorable musician Professor Tyzen Hsiao and Mr. Lin Hok-Ju's' creations on ''Taiwanese Art Songs'', both of these Taiwanese musician has been staying in U.S., who used the melody and integrity silently creating the beauty of Taiwan for many years, such album is the essence released. 
 
　蕭泰然教授含蘊濃郁的台灣民族鄉土味之眾多作品，已經廣泛地為世界一流樂團於各大音樂廳所演出，更難得的是這些作品均為他身處異鄉，在極為艱困境遇中所孕育的。 
Professor Hsiao's articles fulfilled with strong emotion on Taiwanese culture, has been widely performed by top class orchestra over the world, furthermore, these articles has been created under critical situation! 
 
　林福裕先生是我的啟蒙老師，一生受他的潛移默化至深，他是當代蜚聲國際研究兒童合唱音樂的權威，更是一位熱愛台灣的傑出作曲家；早在60年代創作的《天黑黑》、《白鷺鷥》與《板橋查某》等鄉土名曲，至今被當作是台灣民謠代表作，海內外廣受喜愛與傳唱。 
Mr. Lin Hok-Ju is my most respectable teacher, I have been greatly influenced by him throughout my entire life, and he is the most distinctive scholar in researching children's choir internationally, also a very outstanding composer who desperately loved Taiwan! In early 60's he created "The dark sky"; "Egret", and "Ban-Chiao Girls", till now they are treated as representing folk songs of Taiwan, which widely sung over the world. 
 
　本曲集共選輯倆位音樂家14首渾然天成的神韻，除了烏鶖咬咬啾是孩提時，自咱的母親口耳相傳的唸謠外，所有的歌詞單從《咱的故鄉台灣》、《淡薄仔朋友》、《想起》、《夢你》、《月娘半屏圓》、《永遠的故鄉》、《阿母的頭鬘》、《毋通嫌台灣》、《上美的花》、《新郎的祈禱》、《冬至圓》與《今夜阮有一條歌》之曲名，就可意會到唯美的詩意畫境，周遭的親人朋友、故鄉土地的愛與咱的思念寄望都歷歷在目躍然紙上。這些詩詞都是一夫、林邊、黃靜雅、呂金守、吳景裕、向陽、林央敏、東方白、路寒袖、許常德及陳謙等11位詩人獻給故鄉的疼心，謹此一併致上敬意！歌詞的文學內涵與作曲的雋永雅緻均堪稱一時之選。 
This album has collected 14 songs composed by both musician, except ''The Crying Crow'' is a song which been wordbally transferred by parents during our childhoods, the rest of the contents from ''Our homeland Taiwan'', ''Just friend'', ''Remember'', ''Dreaming of you'', ''Half moon'', ''Eternal homeland'', ''Mother's hair'', ''Don't annoy Taiwan'', ''The fairest flower'', ''Prayer of bridegroom'', ''Winter solstice dumplings'' and ''Tonight I have a song'' etc., one could imagine the beauty of those songs, friends and relatives around you, love of the homeland as well as our minds and thoughts all been expressed into the articles. These poems contents are all created by It-Hu, Lin-Pian, Ng Cheng-Nga, Lu Kim-Siu, Ngo Keng-Ju, Hiong-Iong, Lin Iong-Bin, Tang Hong-Peh, Lu Han-Siu, Kho Siong-Tek and Tan-Khiam etc., who devoted their love to the homeland, the literal contents in the song as well as composing shown the distinctive piece, we salute all of them! 
 
　此外，更邀集留學德、日的女高音葉君儀及男高音歐秀雄演唱，鋼琴家王愛倫與許景涓伴奏，精心嚴謹的錄製【月娘半屏圓】CD；歌詞加注羅馬拼音，以利世人的傳唱。 
Besides, we invited Soprano who stayed in Japan, Germany Iap Kun-Gi and Tenor Au Siu-Hiong to sing the song, pianist Ong Ai-Lun and Kho Keng-Koan, to create this CD solemnly and strictly, texts inside has been using Roman punctuation as to make it easier for one to sing.

Once you listen to this album, you will find that Taiwanese has given life to the art of music are so elegant, beautiful, so penetrating, so close to us.

We deeply trust, this album could stand the test as time goes by, Taiwanese is first class international languages, and Taiwanese song will eventually step into the music chapel!
