大鼻子在台灣的自強號上看過前座人的蘋果日報頭版上的屍體照片，對於台灣人被養壞的重口味很是驚訝。對於米國媒體的表現也常常在家幹譙。

不過他去超市買牛奶也會回來興高采烈地跟我說，Rachel Ray 的另一半劈腿，這樣的八卦。今天我連一個小新聞給他看，他也跑去對抗媒體了。

To put it plainly in the words of your freelance writer, Madison Gray has shown how he was not "spending the time parsing the facts that would make it meaningful or informative". This report is seriously flawed in several areas.

#1. There has never been any connection between President Chen and his son-in-law's insider trading. This is something the tabloid-esque Taiwan press and partisan opponents have been alleging without any evidence whatsoever.

#2. Mr. Chen's wife has only been proven to be using false receipts to account for official presidential charges where an actual receipt does not exist. This has been a practice for over forty years in Taiwan. Only recently, have the opposition party / Taiwanese media been using this against the current president in an ongoing smear campaign.

I would recommend that Mr. Madison stick to the facts and not make any biased conclusions especially when consulting with a mainland Chinese or reading the Taiwanese media's or KMT party's account of this matter.
