太古坊 Taikoo Place
是什么地方,商业大厦?
我嫌它没有空间感的美观~

第一張猛一看還以為是土地裂痕呢!

太古坊的位置周遭環境看起來有點複雜
不過有時候"衝突"也是一種美啦!

太古坊 is a commerical complex next to 太古城 and 太古城 is a residential area in Hong Kong. In general, 太古城 is considered a more upper-middle class (or yuppie) area, at least it was when I was still living in HK 20 years ago. I have only been there once because one of my secondary school classmates (both of her parents are doctors) live there. That was after we completed O-level public exam and decided to have a buffet party. It was some fond memories.

現代化商廈和舊式住宅形成了強烈的對比
沒有新的怎知是舊呢!
我也有同感..."衝突"也是一種美啦! ^.^

Oh...You are familiar with this place. The price of property market still very solid for Taikoo Shing at the moment, as the location/environment/facility are better than the others. There are many expatriates(mostly Japanese & Korean) living in Taikoo Shing or Kornhill. Maybe they like the Japanese department store(Uni or Jusco)closer to their home la ^.^

I have only been to Taikoo Shing once, and it was over 20 years ago, so I can't say I am familiar with the place at all. I have vague memory of the local supermarket we were shopping for our buffet party (ParknShop I believe) but I remember we had a great time in the party.

Those post-public exam carefree days... "有時候　我會相信一切有盡頭 沒有甚麼會永垂不朽..."

Yup.... Those were the days!!
Noticed that Taikoo Shing established almost 30 years ago, estate maintainence still very good by Taikoo property. So... you may visit there again to recall your memories by your next HK trip. ^.^
