天台的月光

hi 月光兄,
第一次拜訪貴部落格, 以後會隨時探望.
當年的我亦像月光兄一樣會為一首歌而買一隻碟.
好像為聽"Temple of the king",
便買了Rainbow的大碟.
只要是好歌, 我覺得還是值得的.
I don't want to lose your love 確是好歌,
在香港現在只能在一張於2000年,
Sony Music 出版的"Platinum Love Songs"的CD內找到.
他還有一首'Love you like I never loved before'都是很好聽的.

I Don't Want To Lose Your Love當年在香港超流行﹐因為在東京音樂節獲獎﹐現在唱片公司賣情歌精讀來來去去都是那些歌﹐倒是沒多少唱片大員記得這首歌了。

我还没接触他的歌曲.消化中...不过,封面很醒~

很難解析, 喜歡就是喜歡 而聽某些歌亦是一樣
不過 近幾年我沒做這事了 可能真的沒有超吸引一首歌耶!

“I Don’t Want To Lose Your Love” was slightly ahead of my time, I remember John O’Banion mostly because of “Satomi Hakken Den” (里見八犬傳). Those of us who grew up in the 80s should remember the Japanese Idols that invaded Hong Kong: Matsuda Seiko (松田聖子), Nakamori Akina (中森明菜), Koizumi Kyôko (小泉今日子) … etc. Among them is my favorite Yakushimaru Hiroko (薬師丸博子). Unlike most Japanese idol singers popular in Hong Kong, Hiroko is primarily an actress. Exclusively contracted to the publishing-company-turn-studio Kadokawa Pictures (角川映畫), the studio released a series of movies that featured what known as “Kadokawa Heroine” - a young, cute, smart and bold teenage girl, as the protagonist, and Yakushimaru Hiroko was the quintessential Kadokawa heroine. After conquering the Japan movie scene with their blockbuster “Sailor-fuku to kikanjû” (水手服與機關槍), Kadokawa and Yakushimaru Hiroko set their sight on the international market with “Satomi Hakken Den”, the adaption of a 19 century Japanese mythology which Kadokawa promoted it as the Japanese’s “Star War”. In order to appeal to the oversea audience, it was decided that the movie theme should be in English and to be sung by John O’Banion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szMwhGP_3q8). However, I am not quite sure this tactic worked because when the song was played during the movie when it was showed in Hong Kong, what intended to be a romantic moment the audience just burst into laughter due to the idiosyncratic featuring of an English song in a Japanese costume action drama.

Oh... Your favorite Japanese Idol is Yakushimaru Hiroko (薬師丸博子) don't know before until you mentioned to me at the moment. My favorite Japanese singer at 80s was Masahiko Kondō (近藤真彦), his popular song is 梅艷芳的《夕陽之歌》和陳慧嫻的《千千闕歌》haha.....

For John O’Banion english song for "Satomi Hakken Den" just like the 'fusion' dishes at the restaurant nowadays. Btw, I actually don't like the mood for the song at this movie. :(

Dear Shangri_la & 天台的月光﹐

當年藥師丸博子也是我的至愛﹐她與柏原芳惠的單曲我都買﹐倒是中森明菜我也很喜歡﹐但是買她的CD卻是後來的事。


藥師丸博子也曾是玉置浩二的妻子﹐近年她拍過日劇“一公升眼淚”﹐她老了許多﹐不過我也沒追看。
