Named after the year they were born, 1976 was established in the summer of 1996 and are hailed as one of the leading indie bands in Taiwan.
The band blends elements of psychedelic-folk, Brit-pop, electronic-rock, glam rock and modern rock into an electrifying live show. How electrifying?
Last spring, 1976 was invited as the opening guest for the Oasis Live Forever Tour in Taipei – the first Taiwanese band ever to perform as opening guest for an international rock band.
