Two typhoons are heading to Taiwan 


The very first day-off due to the typhoon in Taiwan summer 2004.
The rain was getting heavier since Monday (8/23) and on the late night news announced no work and no school for Tuesday.
Man...Thanks God!
I don't need to get on two buses to the office.
Oooooh, yes!!

So, what should I do for the free day? While it was windy and rainy like hell out there...
Pictures! Yes, I got tons of pictures what I took from the last trip to the those
amazing National Park during our last trip in State.
I finally check out each of them and put them into to the "Work On It" folder for
later use.
It took me the whole afternoon and 3.5 hours after dinner working on it.
Man, I can't image I don't have my digital camera in the future...

After dinner, I got one more great news.
No work and no school for tomorrow (8/25)!!!
OH My, OH My, OH My...
Another day for working on pictures.
But also got bad news from friend about prevent flooding in her neighborhood.
It got history to prove the severe flooding in Nan-Gan area and Shi-Zi are.
I wish people live out there already get any shelter and other supplies.

Tomorrow is another day to fight with typhoon and
another day for me to my journal writing.

For a company which is not very consider employee's personality and ideas
I know I won't belong here too long

I am thinking about CREATIVE these days.
One thing Dr. Etnyre reminds me when he replied my e-mail
at the first week of my work.

"Can this job let me provide my imagination and creativity? " I asked
myself.

I read an article from http://www.cw.com.tw about their moving their
offices to a new location. The new building has big floor window so all
employers can see the beautiful city from their office.
They can take a break and walk around in the garden on the top.

The main purpose to have a place to take a break, to have a cup of
coffee is to let your creativity to be survived in concrete jungle.
To open your mind wildly and to keep your mind be opened.

I don't see if I can provide my creation to this job or I don't know if
they need my imagination. The bigger project or the
government-related project seem have much more difficulties and
limitations than other business projects. At least from now, according
all those documents I am working on, I don't' see any of creativity.

Bonnie said I update the website for our old classmates pretty often.
I laugh.

That's the only thing I can put my creativity.

I have to be very careful. Don't let those lousy annoying routine to
ruin my talent.

 
轉眼之間，一個月就過了，
Bonnie小姐還打趣說，過了一個月，那第二個月，第三個月就覺得更快，
馬上，跨過了一年，就有年假可以休了！
 
很多事情，都還在摸索，
很多事情，都還在學習，
很多事情，都在繳了學費後，得到經驗和教訓．
 
在車陣中穿梭時，常常會覺得為什麼自己放棄Houston的大方公路，
在看著別人出租的公寓時，總會會回想起我們在Summer Cove的挑高one bed room，
還有，信義區Chilis的菜單，永遠比不上Papas的BBQ Ribs來得吸引人．
 
但是，每當眼睛睜開來，聽見窗外此起彼落的蟬鳴，
從天台上收下晒得暖烘烘的夏被時，
在餐桌上看著幾乎塞不下桌面的美食，
又總是有著幸福的感覺．

What is my goal from now? 

Ha...so many days doesn't blog...
We have UML classes yesterday and today and I feel I have so much to learn!!!
Actually, I took MIS class which cover UML just a little bit in UHCL; however,
due to the stupid Rob(<---The Professor), I have no idea what UML is.
Don't even mention Use Case, Test Case, CCC, Sequence Diagram and ER Diagram.
The project we are working right now is on its late first phrase approach to second
phrase. I think it is a good chance for me to get a big project and learn more
about UML. I have try running Rational Rose and oh, boy, it is a totaly different
world!
The class dismiss around 6:30 and I am waiting Dave to give me ride.
I have called his cell and my sister picked up the phone: he left the celluar at home!!!

阿伯終於履行了我給他的功課了，我教他發e-mail的話就可以順便練習打中文，
現在，阿伯可是繼老媽之後，有練習打字和運用internet的人了，
金是值得好好鼓勵鼓勵．
我想來問問看有沒有社區大學是要教五十五歲以上的人，
去教教他們用e-mail和使用internet，
讓他們學習新的技巧，發現internet的樂趣，
我想應該對這些退休的人來說，是不錯的new hobby吧．
不過，剛開始學打字真的是一件不容易的事，
三十分鐘以上注視電腦，也是一件傷眼的事，
難怪阿伯要不習慣了．

我的電腦已接寬頻,很抱歉,自從當清潔工以來,除了義工日之外,幾乎足不出戶.
所以嘛也就沒上你家,你家的大老爺都好吧,
新的工作可以適應嗎?
人生的每一個過程,都有其正面的意義.端看你怎麼去解讀.
電腦聊天很累,不能像面對面般的暢所欲言.實在不習慣.
我要寫日記了,改天在談,祝好運 .

今天包了粽子，去年是在Louis家包的，
今年回到台北，包起粽子來少了一分胡鬧多了一分真材實料，
因為我們的挑嘴，我家的粽子果然十分南部風味，
生糯米小炒過紅蔥不說，加上大顆的土豆增加口感，
小蝦米和紅蔥爆炒三層肉香味四溢，還沒包就口水直流，
再加上四分之一顆的魯蛋，使粽子又多了令一番難忘的好滋味．
啊，薑果然是老的辣，老媽的功夫金地不是蓋的，

中午一開鍋，每個人至少二粒粽子下肚，
連瘦小的Bonnie小姐，都居然連吃了三粒，
不過，我家的粽子以小巧味美取勝，
二粒剛剛好，三粒不為過．

八德路那家很有名的粽子今年居然漲價到一粒要五十元，
剛好和Bonnie去替她老媽買了十二粒，
光看外表，那五十元的粽子就是送我，
我都要考慮考慮了，
而且用蒸的粽子怎樣也比不上用水煮的Q，
高家肉粽外層用乾的粽葉，內層用新鮮粽葉(這可是早上一早連跑三個市場才買到的)，
又增加了粽葉的清香，
啊...太讚了．
三斤的粽子只包出來５７顆，
要吃要手脚快一點，
吃不到的人，明年請早預約!

終於平安渡過第四天，昨天Bonnie還在說，
如果我星期五有去上班，那三日咀咒就會破除，
她還想發簡訊給我來記拍手鼓掌哩．．．
看來，我現在要跨越三日摩咒，往七日咒前進，
接下來的半月咒，一月咒就會漸入佳境了吧．．．（希望啦．．．）

昨天祕書在發端午節禮卷，到我的時候說，啊，妳才來，沒有哦．
．．．＞＿＜．．．唔唔唔．．．好小氣哦，吼．．．
唉，沒有端午節禮卷，我的生日也過了，這下子要等到中秋節才有了．

都不能體諒新人．

BuBu到家囉~~~
這次新BuBu還是向阿福同學的哥哥買的，
加上二年期的紋身竊盜險，四萬出頭，
我們二個人終於有了代步的工具了，

金是太讚了，呵呵呵...

太久沒有騎BuBu了，真的有點不大習慣，

又可以到陽明山泡温泉，淡水買魚丸了，
雖然坐公車可以到，但有小BuBu同行，
果然還是不一樣地啊．．．
