一座演化中的島嶼

近三十年來的資本全球化不僅帶動了資本的跨國流動，也直接促成了文化、資訊與勞動人口的越界移動。而在當今後殖民、離散、跨界現象、多元文化主義、全球化等諸多現象的衝擊之下，女性主義也面臨了更多的挑戰，但也因此促進了女性主義理論不斷地修正與回應。研讀會預期以國際視野為出發點，深入了解在全球化的趨勢下跨國女性研究的發展，並且針對多元文化與女性研究的議題加以討論。預計研讀關於跨國女性主義、去殖民理論與來自不同文化背景的女性和國家、地方之關係的相關論述。
