A list of textbooks
A list of textbooks that I found, might come in handy.
- Integrated Chinese, Level 1 (part I & II) and Level 2, from Cheng & Tsui Company (http://www.chengandtsui.com).
- HanYu, published by Longman, distributed by Cheng & Tsui Company in MA. SFUSD currently uses this textbook.
- Far East Practical Everyday Chinese, published by Far East Book Company (http://eng.fareast.com.tw/engweb/index1.php).
- Chinese for Youth, published by Far East Book Company.
- New text for modern China, Cheng & Tsui Company.
- Colloquial Chinese. Ping-Cheng T'ung and D.E. Pollard. 1987. London and New York: Routledge & Kegan Paul. This is the textbook used at SF State University.
- Zhongguotong, Created by the National Chinese Curriculum Project (Australia).
- Beyond the Basics Communicative Chinese for Intermediate/Advanced Learners Textbook
