筷子姊妹花 (The Chopsticks)

筷子姊妹花 The Chopsticks，這支香港流行樂壇史上首創的女子合唱組合，由香港出生帶中英血统的仙杜拉Sandra及來自台灣山地族的亞美娜Amina於六十年代末組成。


雖然當時適值是本地流行樂壇的低潮期，但基於她們極為洋化的外型及新潮的裝扮，加上出色的歌唱造詣，出道不久後仍廣受樂迷歡迎。她們早期駐唱於中區希爾頓酒店Hilton Hotel的鷹巢(Eagle’s Nest)夜總會，並不時在無線電視HK-TVB翡翠台的"歡樂今宵"及由方逸華主持的"可樂晚唱"節目中演出。1970年，獲娛樂唱片公司簽約灌錄唱片，其後更經常往海外登台。1972年11月至1973年3月期間，無線電視為她們製作了一系列的"筷子之歌"每週專輯節目，惜至1973年中時分，組合宣佈正式拆夥。

Welcome to this blog!

Very sorry that I cannot entertain your request. As you know, these album cover pictures are very raw today and I hate to see certain uncivilized people (absolutely not you, of course) in the web, particularly those from mainland China, who intentionally do not respect the intellectual property rights of others by copying as well as using the entire content of others' property without quoting where it comes from and sometimes even claiming he/she is the "owner" of that property. I've seen a lot of these kinds of mis-behaviour before.

Well, you can still freely use all my pictures posted here but feel sorry again being unable to provide you those without the watermark.

Welcome to this blog!

Actually, "Kowloon Hong Kong" was originally recorded by a Hong Kong Flippino band under the name of Reynettes in 1966. Please see the following link....

My memory tells that The Chopsticks did play this song quite often in the TV shows those days but just didn't put it into their records ever produced.
