艾日草堂

自從聽到亞法隆影集版的主題曲之後，我就一直十分喜歡Loreena McKennitt的音樂。不過倒是現在才找到她筆下最令我感動的歌詞。
詞句中的優美和滄桑，曲調裡的遙遠與神祕，讓我在聆聽時不知不覺地把亞法隆小說中Morgaine和Kevin傷感的故事複習了一次。
如果這兩人之間只有愛情也就好了。偏偏在那個女神信仰危急存亡的時代，他們各自身負的使命也帶來了衝突、誤解和噩運，迫使曾經相戀的他們以最微妙的手法傷害彼此。這句「You were like a bird in a cage spreading its wings to fly
"The old ways are lost," you sang as you flew」或許就是處在信仰、權力、情感的種種矛盾之中的Kevin的寫照吧。

(其實我很想把那一段的劇情整個寫出來，可是好複雜，整個就是文學蝴蝶效應，很多小細節延續到最後都突然變得驚天動地...)
