My LA shopping notes

每次到美國洛杉磯，不變的行程就是逛街。Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Robinson May, Barney's New York, Neimen Marcus...。每一家百貨公司會挑選禿顯自我特色的商品，即使是同一家百貨，店與店之間也會因著所在的區域不同而在商品上選擇不同的定位。

Barney's New York 的華麗令人驚喜。黑白相間的大理石地板，氣派的樓梯一圈圈的繞著每一個樓層，抬頭看見的是設計華麗的透光玻璃。

架子上一排排的洋裝雖有折扣，卻是令人怯步的高級品牌，Giorgio Armani, Miu Miu, Jil Sanders....

我喜歡Nordstrom，平凡中帶一點時尚，鞋子的選擇很多，自有品牌的鞋價格合理又好穿。曾經在那裏敗過一支Kate Spade的冬天皮包。那一天去Santa Anita的Nordstrom, 竟然還有鋼琴手在現場彈奏輕快的爵士樂。我循著音樂的聲音走上二樓，和正在彈琴的禿頭中年先生微笑，他快樂的手指在琴鍵之間游走。逛街不一定要買東西，能把一些快樂氣氛吸到細胞裡已經足夠。

Rodeo Drive上的Saks Fifth Avenue並不大，我喜歡看它的人形模特兒，
搔首弄姿的，特別生動。

這次在傍晚造訪了未曾謀面的South Coast Plaza. 這裡的商店再完整不過了，但餐飲的選擇也不遜色。走在連結各棟之間的戶外廣場，燈影、夕陽、微風，稀疏的人潮，有一種特殊的悠閒感。

我選了一個角落拍了張照片傳送給Josephine, 玩 "guess where" 的遊戲，當時的她在鼻頭角爬步道，馬上猜中了謎底，還笑我給了她一個送分題。我和她的生活體驗真是太相同了，兩個人不要好都很難!

去了很多shopping的地方，記憶裡的重點卻都和shopping無關，ha ha!

So impressed about the fact that you spotted South Coast Plaza so quickly, but i thought Quattro Cafe was a Cafe instead of Italian restaurant....so, which was the restaurant you visited? Or any good dining places over there that you'll recommend?

Quattro cafe is located next to emporio armani... used to be the armani cafe but changed ownership i think. it is an italian restaurant... similar to Bellini but pricier. Still like Bellini better.

You impress me again. Well, it's your 地盤. Wish we could go there together someday, we can stay in there for the whole day, eat, drink, and shop.
