At-a-glance, 應該是”一目了然”的意思吧。

過去總會建立一些管理報表，秉持著at-a-glance 的精神，定期更新，定期掌握整體狀況。最近看一些公司的簡報，簡報開頭也會有 at-a-glance 的資料，幫助忙碌的審閱者可以快速進入狀況。

某天早晨逛部落格，剎那間體會到web 2.0的各種工具讓 at-a-glance 更方便，透過不同的網頁連結技術或資料抓取技術，我在幾個clicks之間就參與了朋友們在這地球各個角落從事的活動。

"Isabella and the Pot of Basil" was an innocent painting at the first glance, but after reading the story on the tablet beside it, I was a little scared by the content of the basil.

Such a contrast, the painting looks quite serene, the underlying horror just makes the piece of art very impactful, isn't it?
