一次
好友 Jennifer 送我一本書, 是德國導演 Wim Wenders 的攝影作品集"一次" (Once). 星期六晚上在遼寧街的咖啡店裡坐了一個多小時, 幾乎就要把整本書都看完了. 這是一本攝影集, 有照片, 有散文. Jennifer 說, 在書的封面上有一句Winders 說的話, 讓她想到要送這一本書給我:
每一張照片都重新證明
時間的綿延連續
不可停留

照片 + 散文, 以現在的語言來表示, 無非就是部落格的形式! 平常偶而利用手機 MMS 功能與 Jennifer 分享生活影像, 我想這是她看到這本書時想到我的原因. 細想這一句話, 這觀念似乎和我大學時期唸的十九世紀詩歌 Ode to a Grecian Urn 大有不同. 古希臘人在甕 (urn) 上繪出男女戀愛的景象, 試圖在甕上的畫裡使愛情不朽, 溫德斯則覺得相機所紀錄的影像, 就僅只一次, 從此不再.
以為雨天即將於週末到來, 趁著天氣還晴朗的時候, 拼命從事戶外活動. 前些日子意外發現在大稻埕碼頭可以租腳踏車沿著河邊騎, 沒想到河邊的腳踏車道竟然一直延伸, 沒有盡頭. 在太陽還與地面呈35度角的時候出發, 騎著騎著, 從淡水河到新店溪, 鑽過華江橋, 光復橋, 華中橋....在太陽落下地平線前回到原點. 刻意將沿路用手機所拍攝的照片做黑白處理, 呼應一下 Winders 的風格, 自得其樂!

我也有這本書欸~購買的理由也是被那熟悉的黑白攝影的魅力所吸引。
暗房的化學藥水味和鬼魅般的紅燈，曾是我大學四年的青春回憶。
青春已遠，想不到看到妳這"用手機所拍攝的照片做黑白處理"，
呵呵，那種感覺真的又回來了！

哇,原來你還在暗房裡面玩過!我大學時也稍稍玩了一下攝影,但總是偷懶的用黑白底片拍攝,再拿到照相館裡用彩色冲印,製造泛黃的感覺.沒想到科技日新月異,現在泛黃的感覺直接在手機上就可以創造了!

I love the continuity about the quote. It's just so positive. Another quote from the movie "Splendor in the Grass" (directed by Elia Kazan, casting Warrent Beatty and Natalie Wood) "Nothing can bring back the hour, of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower, we'll grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind."

Dear Jen, must be telepathy! I was indeed surprised to see your name appear in my blog, and thank you for the lovely quote. Just amazed at all the precise information you've listed, and how on earth do you remember movie quotes? Did you memorize it while watching the movie? And it's not a short quote! I average go to the movies once a week since Junior High. "Splendor" was one of the movies with all the right elements: controversial yet intriguing story, powerful director, and 俊男美女. I tried very hard to remember the quote the second time I watched it. It wasn't very easy for a high school girl with not-so-good English and not-so-good memory. Probably 少女情懷 helped... But I have to admit, I did double check the IMDb movie database before I post the previous note :-)
