就是這首For What it's worth，收錄於1967年Buffalo Springfield的同名專輯裡，為Stephen Stills目睹1966年洛杉磯日落大道（Sunset Strip）的暴亂時，有感而發所寫出這首反暴力的歌曲，又加上當時美國執意介入越戰之時代背景，使得這首歌也理所當然成為當時超紅的反戰名曲之一。這支成立兩年即宣告解散的短命樂隊，Buffalo Springfield的組成團員─Stephen Stills、Richie Furay、Jim Messina、Neil Young、Bruce Palmer等，在各自單飛後都更有一片廣闊天空並形成一定的影響力；尤其是Neil Young，他在1969年時被遊說回去與舊伙伴Stills，以及David Crosby (The Byrds)、Graham Nash (The Hollies)共同另組更傳奇性的C.S.N.Y，並出現於Woodstock音樂會上表演，成就搖滾史上經典璀璨的一章。

《冥王星早餐》片裡，最令人印象深刻，也最令人噴飯的一段香奈兒NO.5香水襲敵事件簿，自稱Kitten的Cillian Murphy以最撩人的姿態，手持一瓶香水當槍掃射敵營時，放的背景音樂即是”For What it's Worth”。導演Neil Jordan放上這支反暴力愛和平的歌曲於這幕─Cillian Murphy純因愛爾蘭身份，被倫敦警方以涉嫌一起舞廳爆炸案而拘捕入警局，在面對不斷暴力刑求逼供下，Cillian Murphy如小孩戲謔似地編造供出這段以香水代替槍枝的攻擊想像來認罪，音樂那端不斷Repeat唱著：『I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound，Everybody look what's going down... We better stop, hey, what's that sound，Everybody look what's going down ，Stop, hey, what's that sound，Everybody look what's going down ...』，可謂反諷力十足，竟能以最輕盈的姿態投下沈甸甸的歷史包袱重量，Neil Jordan此種神來一筆的黑色幽默，在冥王星早餐裡處處嗑得到，實在了不得！
