Celebration of Lights - Vancouver

For three consecutive years, I am going to miss this awesome fireworks show in the city of Vancouver.

It is truely the best summer event in the city and no fireworks from anywhere else can beat it.

I remember on the sunny saturday afternoon, we'd park our cars near Coal Harbour, then take a walk down the Robson & Denmen Street.  The streets are blocked for pedestriants so everyone can freely walk on the driving lanes. 

Sky is blue and sunshine is tender.

Eventually we'd walk to the end of Denmen where the beautiful English Bay is.  On the beach we share the tiny space with tens thousands of people, waiting for the sunset.

And the night comes. Under the black sky the crowds listen to the waves pounding and wait for the first light shoots rocket high across the sky.

Then the show starts, wonderful music paired with the beautiful fireworks, celebrating for the best living city in the entire world. It's a perfect symphony between fires and lights.

I miss the Celebration of Lights, and I miss the summer of Vancouver......

這是從認識你之後，溫哥華每年夏天必定參予的event～
很是懷念。

according to my mom, the fireworks in Asia are way better :P
