2001年蘋果推出了iPod之後，至今已經有數種不同的型號供消費者選用，當然，向iPod「致敬」的產品也是多到不甚枚舉，其中甚至還有台灣自已本地的廠商，在稍改樣式後，還送到國外去參展的事件。

不過這並不是我今天想談的東西。

而以iPod為關鍵字，在這幾年內以iPod有關的研究，至少就找到了38篇。

在iPod之前，隨身聽的代名詞是Sony的Walkman（1979年上市）。

Walkman 改變了人們聽音樂的習慣，他們可以將那些他們想要的音樂帶著走。

而耳機（Headphone）則是其中一個重要的推手。只是令我好奇的是，像上述指名道姓的研究報告，因為它的名字叫iPod，因此才會產生後續的研究報告，或使用習慣調查，或者，研究者只是藉由iPod的名字做為大多數mp3player以及隨身聽的一個代名詞來使用呢？

很有趣，不過我並不打算再繼續挖下去，畢竟對Sony或者Apple來說，他們彼此的產品，在不同的年代中，藉由不同的技術而成為那個年代「移動式音源播放器」的代名詞，對他們來說，在商言商，名氣也已經早就夠了。
