The Perishers - Victorious



                        十年過去，不變的是瑞典的冰冷空氣和The Perishers。

這支頗具代表性的瑞典樂團，於去年發行第三張專輯，不管是在作品數量或專輯風格，都讓我不禁將他們聯想到coldplay，也許是北國的寒冷氣候和短暫的日晝，他們的專輯裡找不到你熟悉的英國樂團情緒化的吉他刷弦，而是以主唱無暇的低鳴，帶出整張專輯瀰漫的優雅氛圍，第二首Beam Departure以大鼓厚實顆粒感作為基底，鍵盤的電子音效和鋼琴則不時在平穩的音調中綴飾，內斂的情感直接透過主唱聲線傳遞。Victorious則一反前半部的憂鬱氣質，原本樸實的木clean tone變的趾高氣昂，先是You keep running, tempting fate.Still not old but growing older，感慨年少黃金流逝，卻又在副歌高唱We could be victorious.Once again victorious.，壯志未酬的滄桑表露無遺。最終曲目Midnight Skies則像是把壓抑的情感一次釋放的洪流，賺人熱淚的情歌又一次成為The Perishers的印記。
