相較於前兩張專輯，後龐克和迷幻搖滾的完美結合，Kings of Leon的新專輯Because Of The Times偏離流行樂的框架，卻融合藍調、福音、鄉村、南方搖滾、車庫搖滾迷幻曲風，今年平均才24歲的年輕隊伍，卻大聲唱著上個世紀的迷人復古韻角。

90年代 - 如夢般的許多畫面仍然記憶猶新，我從來不會否認我是念舊的人，那是我會在操場上追逐竄飛的蜻蜓的年紀，那時候的我喜歡美國職棒，期待亞特蘭大勇士隊可以在世界大賽擊敗洋基隊，喜歡著搖滾，聽著只會唱副歌的Let It Be，那時候我是看完絕地任務後迷上Nicolas Cage的小男孩。

不知道是不是心理作用，回程的車上我覺得比去的時候緩慢，在安靜的車上，我反覆的聽著A Weekend in the City ，對於編制簡單的樂團，我習慣性會仔細聽每個樂器，品味樂手對編曲的想法，而對編制龐大的團，則是會去享受那種宏偉的旋律性帶來的震撼。
