這位傳奇歌手，幾乎已經成為 Jazz 悲劇性格的 Icon。
受她歌聲影響的後輩歌手不計其數，而且也創造了更多的傳奇，像Frank Sinatra、Janis Joplin都是。

除了顫音，除了Scat，所謂美聲，原來可以如此簡單，
但是背後的複雜，其實是無法定義的。

我第一次被Billie感動的時刻，既不是 "Strange Fruit"，也不是 "God bless the Child"，
而是她詮釋 "I Cried For You" 的時候。
