English Practice

One 50-year-old man who I knew is a CEO of an international group. He has an excellent reputation for his successful career. After several meetings with him, it’s not difficult to feel that he is a friendly, warm, trusted and talented person. He always has the smooth approach to help us to figure out the solution of the straits, and then make us overcome the difficulties by ourselves with his supports and encouragements. He is not like other CEOs that I have ever met or heard about. He is just like a friend than a boss.

One day, I had a chance to chat with him on our business trip. He talked about his background, education and working experiences. Before that, I thought he had a master degree at least, and graduated form Harvard University not only because of his professional knowledge but also his fluent English writing and speaking skills. To my big surprise, he denied the Harvard background, he told me he just graduated from the vocational school instead.

ReallyI don‘t believe that. It’s incredible.

How can you speak English so fluently, just like a foreigner?

That is not so big deal. Practice makes perfect. Don’t be shy to speak. Take any chances to speak and write in English, even talk to yourself anytime.

English practice.....
