話說千呼萬喚重出江湖的The Verve，
竟然不止是要巡迴Live賺銀兩而已，還認認真真發了新專輯喔！

另外推首支單曲Love Is Noise，
姑且不論曲風與演唱，歌詞倒是維持一貫讓人激賞的內涵，
Richard對人生的觀察和語言的掌握，還是這麼令人激賞啊！
（看歌詞竟然讓我想到......張愛玲耶～會不會太神了！XD）

MV也很酷，尤其配合前不久北京的奧運開幕式（我覺得是故意的），好像更要呈現某種深意？
[我覺得是或許要表達......人活在越來越商品化群體會的社會中，在群體化的過程中，
所謂的"Love"呈現的必然是種Noise，而且被芸芸眾生拿來當作救贖的幻象嗎？]

最後補充一兩句吧！像這種名團重組，通常一般的下場是讓人失望的多......
（相見不如懷念的道理，果然愛情與音樂皆然啊～Orz）
尤其像The Verve這樣的團，想必對很多聽英搖長大/度過人生重要階段的中老青們，
或多或少都具有特殊意義吧！（某方面來講也算是我的初戀象徵之一啦！哈）
對他們好不容易重組又要出新專輯，相信很多人都是抱著又期待又怕受傷害的心情吧！
初步試聽之後......我的第一印象是無明顯驚奇，不過也還是決定先不要驟下斷語，
也許多給它一點時間沈澱再來決定吧！畢竟Richard的歌，有時後勁也是要慢慢多聽幾次才會呈現的呢！
（好啦～我承認我是感情上希望多給它機會感動我嘛！：P）

不過不管新專輯如何，最希望的還是The Verve來臺北辦演唱會吧！
如果美夢果然成真的話（也不是不可能啊）......應該會有一海票人衝去瞻仰/回味過去心中的夢吧！（幻想中......）
（話說上次一個人去聽Travis都哭慘了，The Verve或Oasis來的話.....我一定會在場上痛哭到不能自己吧！哈～）
