Cocco是我其中一位最喜歡的歌手,經過4年休業,2005年以Singer Songer的姿態出現,於2006年更再度展開個人活動,推出了2張細碟及大碟"ザンサイアン".今次就想談談這張令我期待已久,不過絕不能成為我年間top10的專輯.

這張專輯給我一種煥然一新的感覺,這當然不像休業前消極的Cocco,又跟2005年Singer Songer裡放開一切的Cocco有些不同.Single作"音速パンチ"已是當中的代表,intro是電子風,然後是飄逸的感覺,副歌的演繹更有點像王菲.短小的"Beauty C"歌詞不斷重複,編曲用上古怪的敲擊樂,像要表達甚麼訊息但我又理解不到."Swinging night"又是一大創舉,首次嘗試Swing的樂風,不過Cocco的演繹略嫌不夠膩.另一single作"陽の照りながら雨の降る"是我極度鍾愛之作,開首是極為平淡,不過後部編曲愈來愈壯大,最後更加入Cocco 64位朋友的和唱,為歌曲增添一份浩瀚無邊的感覺;雖然我不大看懂歌詞的內容,但感覺Cocco像是要表達對世上萬物的鍾愛之情,與休業期間的"Heaven’s hell"如出一轍.緊接的最後一曲"Happy Ending"如休業作"焼け野が原"般優美壯大,歌詞卻藉四週壯麗的自然風光,鼓勵大家要積極向前,令我想起Singer Songer的"初花凜々".

"ザンサイアン"亦有少量像休業前的重型搖滾,如"暗黙情事","野火"和"愛うらら",不過當中只有"野火"能給我那種自毀的感覺,而"愛うらら"則予人優雅而絕望的氣氛.另外有些作品,如"夏色","四月馬鹿","唄い人"等,都像Singer Songer時期的country作品,非常平而近人,但稍欠特色.

總的來說,以往憤世嫉俗,消極絕望的Cocco已經慢慢遠去,曲風雖仍以pop rock為骨幹,不過Cocco的世界觀已大為改變.這種發自內心而影響作品的轉變是很自然的,因此我相信以後會聽到更多像"陽の照りながら雨の降る"的作品.最後,作為喜歡Cocco的人,我會對Cocco的這種轉變感到欣慰;不過作為一個歌迷,我還是想聽到從前的Cocco.
