無題

A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about values, how important they are, and how much they matter. In a world where our ideals and values are often compromised, where do we draw the line? When do we tell ourselves enough is enough?

There aren't clear answers. My rule of thumb is... if a decision makes me feel uncomfortable after having slept on it, then I know a line should be drawn.

Life is too short, too precious, to be wasted on irrelevant and pretentious matters.

我覺得value的重要是因為我們需要知道"我是誰","我在那裡".... 最近看一本書叫"上海時尚160年海派生活"... 有一段是這麼寫的.."英國人胡潤在上海有過一段沉寂的日子,看著周圍的朋友在歐洲各國創業成功,27歲的他卻怅然若失,1997年時,他給遠方家鄉的父親打電話,訴說他的苦悶,老父一語驚醒夢中人,"你有沒有明白,在中國,在上海,你是誰?"--- 後來胡潤就出了令他揚名立萬的中國富豪榜........

Thanks for sharing my dear. Had a similar discussion with Old Wang recently regarding life's values and priorities. Striking balance is a constant challenge. Anxiously await your return so that we can continue on with this topic.

要相信自己的直覺~當你常常覺得不舒服, 就一定是有問題了.
"當和尚遇見鑽石"這本書很有趣,說明天生的商人有著最深沈的內在力量,這個內在力量用在商場上,是對市場及產品的"直覺"及"運氣", 用在日常生活中,就是對人及對事的洞悉力!

讓我又忍不住來留言.
最近重新看完The 7 Habbits of Effective People, 深刻感受到人的mission, values, 以及佛法中講的"覺照力"(就是隨時隨地有智慧地看好自己的心並且做出"智慧"而非"慣性"的行動的能力)真的是很重要的.
而艾比必須坦承,艾比當初就是"看不慣"才選擇離開貴公司的...
不過艾比相信,你已經習慣了,而且可以天天劃線,所以不用離開.
