喬瑟芬之生活嬉遊─

好久沒有用中文寫Blog了，只是最近這個擺攤的體驗實在有趣的很，再加上我未來寫中文作文的機會微乎其微，趁著記憶猶新趕緊來分享一下。另外我暫時不在這裡分享私人照片了，以免不必要的困擾。我也相信我的文字也可以吸引人，不一定得靠擺大頭照不可。

差不多就在我申請學校完有個底的時候，就是山頂洞人出關的時候啦。這段期間我簡直被悶壞了，準備之餘只看酪梨壽司、稚齡姐的部落格為自己打氣，雖然申請上的學校沒她們那麼厲害，但是辛苦的過程卻是有過之而無不及：拼GMAT.TOEFL iBT,寫入學essay，用skype與面試官interview，漫長等待申請結果等等，似乎又值得寫一篇辛酸史；其中最不想回憶的是寫essay。除了有五花八門的題目逼每個申請者審視自己，還要把回憶翻出來攤在學校面前，一字一句推敲、Google自己寫出的英文文法是不是正確的。這上萬字的成果，與寫部落格想寫啥就寫啥可相去十萬八千里。需要回憶的時候，可以找些朋友、同事、家人給靈感，跟代辦的顧問還有已經讀完MBA的同學獲取資訊─但經驗可是活生生自己的，寫出來才動人跟獨一無二！
    
        等到面試時，還要把文字轉化為日常口語，讓面試官相信你深具領導及商業潛力。說實話我是個生性害羞，但被這過程磨練到越來越social。陰錯陽差得到我某任老闆所說，我需要培養社會化的能力，哈。 這是一個有留學夢但沒有深厚英文基礎者的悲哀。我和好幾個走 MBA 路的朋友都深有同感：除非是有美加公民身分，或是真有得天獨厚的某方面能力甚或財力，不然就只得靠你堅定不移的毅力和準備時間來走這行。我們幾乎都會勸人想清楚，因為一踏入連回頭都很難阿~哈！

 回來講擺攤這件事，硬要扯，也跟MBA有關係。讀MBA，就是要為自己未來的職涯發展作一番訓練審視。所謂start off a business，講得就是創業。說實話，就算在台灣職場待了五六年，一般年紀的朋友，對創業不見得會有想法；尤其是若是家裡的背景不是做生意的，老老實實唸書之後找工作的朋友，對於尋找商機這種事的想法更是模糊。雖然說不是每個人都需要當老闆，創事業，單是有這樣企圖心就值得一試─ 賣東西可以是累積創業的最初步經驗。擺二手地攤更沒什麼學問，又有許多好處。讀管理是要懂得分析pros and cons的。好處是可以第一體驗人生，第二是在留學遠行前清出自己的舊東西和空間，第三是學得一點交易的技巧還有學習一些基礎的財會等記帳實務。     

     不那麼嚴肅的說，我跟一般女生一樣喜歡fashion，篤信女人永遠少一件衣服的箴言；各各環肥燕瘦的身材，又有妝髮的學問，要夠了解自己的年齡、場合、適合的穿扮─時尚這個事業可不是那麼膚淺的。若是要我創業，我第一個想到得就是賣衣服。再者除了自己，身旁許多親朋好友也都是購物狂─以致多年來累積了不少衣服包包，除了捐贈幾件給弱勢團體義賣，整理一下舊衣物後說不定能找到新的、更適合她們的主人，一舉數得。

  The question is, “Should parents live with their children?” Before discussing this issue, I think mutual respect and trust between parents and children of primary importance. After all, immediate family members should support one another no matter if in economic or in emotional issues, but living together is not necessary. On the other hand, we must take into account practicality. Sometimes accidents will happen. Children who go abroad to search for opportunities and have financial difficulties may want to be with their parents, but they cannot. In my opinion, I think that parents should live with their children for two reasons.

 When I felt depressed, tired or frustrated, I just listen to these three legendary classic songs, “Hero” by Maria Carey, “Greatest love of all” by Whiney Huston, “We are the champion” by Queen.  All the melodies and lyrics are great and fantastic!  The amazing songs are always refreshing me and uplifting me. I compile these songs as below and strongly recommend to you!

      I believe music can cure and comfort hearts and emotions of people. Moreover, good music keeps you company and while you sing along giving you power to pursue your lives and dreams. I hope the songs can motivate and inspire you as well.

 “The Age of Stupid”:The movie which just had the worldwide premier on September 22 this year. The  story is with sarcasm voice, giving stern warning that how we unconsciously damage our environments gradually.  The story is about a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, watching archive footage from 2008 and asking "Why didn't we stop climate change when we had the chance?", referring to the current global warming.
