What is being photographed, and less about how.

最近看到這篇文章~Film is dead, long live film
文章大意是NG編輯David Griffin和攝影師Fritz Hoffman對於"數位vs底片"的看法

當初光是看標題就覺得又是另一篇宣告底片式微的文章, 包括內文照片下方提到

"Fritz uses a P&S camera(Canon G7) to test exposures. And in this case the test snap turned out to capture FAR MORE detail than the counterpart film image shot with a Leica."

他的,文中也提到他喜歡底片相機的原因(尤其是Leica), 同時也表明數位相機的特性, 我覺得二者的特性如何運用端看使用者的目的和喜好, 而且結論提到we care more about what is being photographed, and less about how.


職業和業餘的考量當然有差距,這是不可否認的
慶幸的是現在的環境有相對便宜的film camera和十分進步的數位相機可以選擇
把握時間去拍照真的比較實際
