這首歌的原唱是 Hank Williams，騾子找不到，只能拖回 Jeff Buckley 版，不過我還是喜歡迪倫在 Don't Look Back 裡的版本，不完整，歌詞還唱錯，但配上 Joan Baez 的合音就是天籟了，原汁原味的 country music。I was just a lad, nearly 27 .Neither good nor bad, just a kid like you. And now I'm lost, too late to pray. Lord I take the cost, on the lost highway.

Well, here you are at your college graduation. And I know what you're thinking: "Gimme the sheepskin and get me outta here!" But not so fast. First you have to listen to a commencement speech.

Don't moan. I'm not going to "pass the wisdom of one generation down to the next." I'm a member of the 1960s generation. We didn't have any wisdom.
