此為設定網頁上背景的顏色，可以是用6個16進位數 #rrggbb 代表紅、藍、綠三種顏色的亮度，其中rr是兩個16進位的數字(範圍00~FF， 也就是十進位的0~255)，代表代表紅色的亮度，gg代表綠色的亮度，bb代表藍色的亮度。另一種方式是用內定色名來 表示，例如red, gree, gray, blue 等等，但選擇性就差很多了。
