There comes a new volunteer!
Since last week, the last volunteer, Coline, came back and stay with us, there are always two volunteer in the guesthouse. After Coline left, a new volunteer, Sami, who comes form USA and is already 67 years old grandmother. She travels a lot and been to so many countries to do volunteer work. This is not the first time she comes to Africa.I am very happy to have a campany especially who is a very good cooker. That's great.
We also went to another National Park( or I should say "passed") because my director's boyfriend wanted to see his witch doctor. That was 8 hours driving forward and back but it was a very nice trip. We saw animals, mountain scenes and another witch doctor. That's everything you want to do in Africa and I did it in one day. I will describe more details when I go back to Taiwan.
I have already written more than 45,000 words in my diary. That 's a lot. I never keep diary for such a long time. I think maybe I could write a book after I rearrange and rewrite it. That will be a funny story but maybe not a lot people will buy it. Ha!
I also went to a local wedding yesterday. It was a muslin wedding. I even put on a traditional drass and people said I look "smart". It's interesting to see how different culture greet each other. It was a very long weeding and I wrote down everything in my diary. You will see it after three weeks( That's the date I go back to Taiwan.)
I have three weeks(two weeks in Uganda, 3 days in Dubai and 4days in Hong kong ) to go. I hope I can see more in these three weeks. Brfore I leave Uganda, I want to finish the football field for the kids. The will be a lot of digging but I think that's the best thing I can do for them.
