The third week I only school for one day.
Last Tuesday was a public holiday for muslin but I didn't know. I went to school and discoveried no one was in the school. Only a few kids who live in the school. That was embarranced. Ha Ha!
Wednesday was office work day so I didn't gp also.
I went to school on Thursday and played crazy with the children cuz I know I wouldn't go to school next three days.
Where did I go?
I went to Rwanda.
It took me 6 hours to the board line and another 2 hours to the capital-Kigali. I was trying to meet other volunteers in a place called Gisenyi which is a place between Rwanda and Congo but there were no bus for me.
Try to image my situation, one Asian stand in the taxi park and don't know where to go in a foreign country. It's ok for me if it were in Australia but this time is Rwanda. Anyway, I could still use my cell phone in Rwanda( I think it is because they have the same cell phone company which called MTN) so I called the other volunteers and ask for the hotel they were going to stay in the next day. Took the mototaxi and went to it.
Here, I have to thank my mother especially because she called me and talked to me when I was bored, It is true that you should use any techknowledge stuffs as possible as you can when you do traveling. Without my mom, I would died in bored when I was in Rwanda.
I did go out and see around the city, It's a nice place. People speak Franch and they don't keep looking at you, which makes me feel even better. Rwanda is a place where people called "Country of thousand mountains.". I had watched the famous movie Hotel Rwanda and after this trip I can assure you that movie was definetly not been shot in Rwanda, at least not in the real place where happened in the story,
The second night I finally met the other volunteers and this is the first time I felt I was traveling. They are nice people, Ara from Mexico, Rechal from Ireland and Sarah from US. We had a good time that night and they told me I can visit the museum if I wanted. Evenyually, I didn't go the the museum because last bus back to Uganda was at 9. I didn't have time to go there so I decided to go back with them.
When I crossed the board line and in the custom office, they seemed nevere seen a Taiwan passport ever. But thanks for Ara's big eyes and charm, I gained a 2 months visa time. Thank God and Ara. ^^
I will go to Kampala this weekend and gather with them. We are going to see a football game. I think that will be way more fun than this time.
See you guys next Monday.
And a thousand appreciate to my mom again.
