Vocabulary

accomplishment

ambition/ambitious
* determination: strong desire for success
* no amibition: lazy
* not a good word
* eg. He is so ambitious. He'll do anything to succed.

attain(reach)/attainable
* reach,accomplish,achieve
* + a goal or a target
* obtain:possession ; real things

content - a state of mind
* I took a very diffierent test yesterday. I studied so hard so that I
   could do well. I only got a 76 on the test, so I passed. I'm 
   content because many of my friends failed. But I think I should
   have done better.
* happy/ content/ unhappy

desire - want, hope for

driven - strong will passionate about something
* sometimes could be a little bit negtive

face reality

ideal - perfect

imagination - imagine

motivation- motivated - reason for doing something

occupation
* career: something you do for your life;long time; skill 
* occupation: a job you do for a long time
* job: short term

* come with blame, not a casual word
* very sorry = regret
* very very regretful = remorse

salary
* salary - month or year (salaried person)
* wage - hour (wage earner)

settle for - willing to accept without being happy about it
* to settle= to accept

V.I.P - very important person
* treat an another good way; not for everybody
 


Idioms
1. Get your head out of the clouds.
eg. Hey John! Get your head out of the clouds , you'll never be a
     famous comedian.

2. Keep your fingers crossed -
    to have faith and be hopeful for a future consequence.
eg. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't rain tomorrow
     and stop us from playing baseball.

3. Shttered dreams -
    dreams are ruined without ever accomplishing them.
eg. Momo's dreams were shattered once she discovered that her
     boyfriend did not want to marry her.

4. Big cheese/ head honcho-
    important person such as a boss, said in a fun or joking way.
eg. Hey, I can't help you do anything, I'm just a clerk. If you want 
     to get something done you'll have to toast the head honcho
     over there.

5. Wake up and smell the coffee(rose) - face reality
eg. Jasmine needs to wake up and smell the coffee, working as
     teacher will never make her rich.
