如果要我選出Depeche Mode裡面最接近流行音樂、旋律最悅耳流暢的無敵芭樂歌，那肯定是A Question Of Lust。這首歌幾乎不帶任何達氛取莫得該有的黑暗氣質，反而更接近於之前夥伴Vince Clarke的扎實上升旋律，歌詞也寫得十分巧妙簡單但是寓意深遠，Martin L.Gore一代宗師的寫歌能力在這裡展露無疑，非常適合在卡拉OK裡歡唱，不知道為啥超級西瓜幫還沒有人唱這首歌。
而 A Question Of Lust更是破例地讓Martin演唱，而不是讓David Gahan低沈性感的嗓音去詮釋，Martin的男孩清澈嗓音令人驚艷，雖然不Gahan那麼有特色，但是反而更貼近於新浪潮諸多Synth-Pop樂團的共同音質。另外這個歌還有個有趣之處，那就是由Flood幫他們混音的版本也非常受到歡迎，甚至跟原曲旗鼓相當，Flood把原本光亮憂傷的Synth味道慢慢脫去，還添加了一點本屬DM的黑色黯淡、以及一點Trip-Hop的時尚，非常簡斂但又出色的混音。
新的電子團好像漸漸地沒辦法寫出這樣的歌了。It’s A Question Of Lost。
