Hands Up

我很推薦這首歌曲，同時我也認為這是麥莉出道以來最棒的一首歌。歌詞的內容所塑造出來的意境很棒，也很清楚的描述出這世界上每個人在遭遇困難時，心靈上的奮鬥。(於上篇有小提到這首歌的成績)

鄉村搖滾搭配上抒情與富有意境的歌詞，很巧妙的與麥莉沙啞的嗓音融合，看來麥莉可以多多詮釋搖滾類的歌曲，但是不要pop，那會讓她很讓人不屑XD

由導演Matthew Rolston執導與拍攝，像是TLC【Creep】、Beyonce【Listen】都是很棒的作品，色調偏暗不突兀，很合諧讓人看的感覺很舒服，在刻畫人物表情方面也很有功夫。

【The Climb】MV裡有一個很重要的場景─一條無止盡的道路與路旁許許多多的山脈，隱喻著成功的背後所要付出的代價與辛苦，而顏色幾乎全以以冷藍色調呈現，反映出過程的鬱悶與惆悵，麥莉在路上獨自帶著自己吉他(夢想)往前進，即使過程下起了雨，仍繼續前行。

MV的前半段有幕出現了朵玫瑰花，麥莉撿了起來聞一聞，隨即往後丟並沒有太多的不捨與留戀，告訴我們不要因為前面的小甜頭短視近利，畢竟人生路漫長，還是要繼續走下，不斷的攀爬過每一個困難，直到最後麥莉終究迎向了光明並在山頂上大聲唱出歌詞裡所要表現的勇往直前。
