在oasis的myspace看到正式宣布的文字 感覺真的很奇怪
雖然大家都知道這次是因為某些原因這場巡迴才改來台北
但綠洲來台灣的事實的確是已經確定了 我卻還是覺得這一切像是夢

雖然我不能算是oasis的忠實粉絲
但是他們的確陪我走過了青春晦暗的九零年代
如果我的骨子裡隱藏了一些的桀傲不遜
我想多少還是跟Liam脫不了關係
當年的晨光榮耀專輯發行時一派英倫搖滾救世主駕臨的英姿
我到現在都還記憶猶新
不論how many special people changed
我知道這份美好已經足夠我保留到我老死的那一天

後記
如果照這兩年的走勢看來
或許這輩子想在台灣看到Radiohead並不是完全不可能的事情了

這份list裡第二支Michel Gondry的作品
即便這是一個相當簡單的概念
但能夠把樂譜具像化到這種程度 我想只能用爽來形容吧
除了執行面的徹底之外 細膩的程度也著實令人讚嘆
除了可以分辨出紅衣路人 白衣路人 坐著的路人 都分別代表著不同的音符或樂句
更不用提場景轉換 景深變化 角度 甚至是玻璃反光室內 與歌曲之間的關聯
曾經有非常多支音樂錄影帶使用了相同的概念
但始終沒有一個能夠像Star Guitar一樣 帶來這麼直接又強烈的力道

這是Sean Penn今年獲得奧斯卡最佳男主角時的領獎致詞
基本上 戲都已經演完了 他大可不必做這樣一個頗具爭議性的選擇
更何況他還用了不算短的篇幅爲同志平權發聲
這樣的舉動 說實在的令我感動了很久

Thank you. Thank you. You commie, homo-loving sons-of-guns. I did not expect this, but I, and I want it to be very clear, that I do know how hard I make it to appreciate me often. But I am touched by the appreciation and I hoped for it enough that I did want to scribble down, so I had the names in case you were commie, homo-loving sons-of-guns, and so I want to thank my best friend, Sata Matsuzawa. My circle of long-time support, Mara, Brian, Barry and Bob. The great Cleve Jones. Our wonderful writer, Lance Black. Producers Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks. And particularly, as all, as actors know, our director either has the patience, talent and restraint to grant us a voice or they don't, and it goes from the beginning of the meeting, through the cutting room. And there is no finer hands to be in than Gus Van Sant.

前面如同一般的致詞主要是一些感謝名單
比較有趣的是
"You commie, homo-loving sons-of-guns" 的意思是
"你們這些喜愛同性戀者的共產主義雜種"
聽說是當年美國保守派常用來罵左派同志運動者的粗話
Sean Penn用了一個如此幽默又調侃的開頭

And finally, for those, two last finallies,
最後還有兩件事情
for those who saw the signs of hatred as our cars drove in tonight,
今天晚上當我們開車進來的時候 看到那些充滿仇恨的標語(註)
I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage
我想現在應該是那些公投投票禁止同性戀婚姻的人
to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame
坐下來反省與領悟他們所犯下的巨大恥辱的時候了
and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way of support.
他們並將了解到如此一來以後看在他們兒孫眼裡會有多麼羞恥
如果他們繼續以這種方式支持仇恨同志的話
We've got to have equal rights for everyone.
我們一定要讓每個人都有平等權利

And there are, and there are, these last two things. I'm very, very proud to live in a country that is willing to elect an elegant man president and a country who, for all its toughness, creates courageous artists. And this is in great due respect to all the nominees, but courageous artists, who despite a sensitivity that sometimes has brought enormous challenge, Mickey Rourke rises again and he is my brother. Thank you all very much.
接著後面這段讚揚了一下歐巴馬


MILK裡頭正牌的Harvey Milk對抗著七零年代的6號提案
30年後Sean Penn在致詞演說上斥責8號公投 (反同性婚姻法案) 的通過
這一切不免令人唏噓




















註: 典禮前有很多仇恨同性戀者的人士寫著god hates fags
甚至是god hates Obama、Heath in hell(希斯來傑下地獄 因為演了斷背山?)

1.西恩潘在MILK裡的演出絕對値得起立鼓掌
2.奧斯卡今年感覺真的很用心 前代得獎人對本屆入圍者的感性喊話雖說有點煽情 但還挺有意思的
3.金馬獎看起來會這麼陽春只是因為資金的問題??

終於出現這個名字了
這個目前快要被全球影像創意愛好者供奉為神祇的外星人Michel Gondry
自從完成了"王牌冤家"和"戀愛夢遊中"之後 讓我更加拜倒也成為他的忠實子民
後來每一次再看這支mv的時候
當初令我驚愕的感覺總還是會使我餘悸猶存

對我來說人物設定和表演成果簡直是無可挑剔
mv裡的男演員是電六的 lead vocal Dick Valentine 女演員則是Tina Kanarek
實在是太有才華了...

我始終聽不出來謠傳中有參與backing vocal的Jack White
或許是mv實在是太好看了

簡單明瞭
執行徹底
低調沉穩
敘述性佳
演技精湛
效果滿分
抓住人心

另記:
Jonathan Glazer專拍這種莫名其妙的劇情
其他印象比較深刻的是RH的"Karma Police" 和 "Richard Ashcroft"的"A Song For The Lovers"
當然Blur "The Universal" 裡頭的經典台詞也讓我相當喜愛
"How long have you been a Red man?"
"About 15 years."
"What were you before?"
"Blue."

A-ha - Take On Me (1984)
directed by Steve Barron



我對這個導演並不熟悉
只知道他還拍過Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" 和 Madonna's"Burning Up"
但都不如這支Take On Me 令人回味再三
這支mv都已經25年了!!! 那是四分之一個世紀阿
縱使劇情有多麼俗不可耐
但時至今日看來仍是令人激賞
很難想像在當初沒有電腦輔助的年代 使用這種rotoscoping的技術可以純熟至此
besides, "Take On Me" 始終是我最愛的New Wave/Synthpop歌曲之一
什麼時候才能在舞廳裡聽到這首歌呢.....................
