有關圓明園獸首拍賣，神秘買主是中國人，原以為是循著過去透過獸首競標購回方式處理，皆大歡喜。想不到結果卻是得標者不付錢。
從政治正確來看抗議行為似乎有理由，然而此舉卻不尊重「所有權」且破壞了市場交易秩序。原因是，目前的收藏者並不是當初的劫掠人，獸首也是透過市場秩序價購而來。而且，劫掠之事在稱為「第二次鴉片戰爭」（Second Opium War, 1856-1860）的1859年的第二次英法聯軍間發生，距今正好150年。是這個150在發酵吧？
