誰與爭鋒?

1999年發行的電影《Election》(《風流教師霹靂妹》)乍看之下是部黑色校園喜劇片，但編導藉由校園選舉來旁觀嘲諷選舉怪象，電影整體成績不俗，一直受到影評人推崇。電影中由Reese Witherspoon所飾演的Tracy Flick一角，是個野心勃勃的女孩，為了贏得選舉而使盡所有花招、不計一切代價。美國華盛頓郵報旗下的線上新聞雜誌Slate最近推出一段影片，將Tracy Flick和角逐民主黨總統候選人之一的Hillary Clinton作了一番比較，十分有趣：



Tracy Flick在此一片段中的台詞：
He was no competition for me; it was like apples and oranges. I had to work a little harder, that's all... It's about working hard. You see I believe in the voters; they understand that elections aren't just popularity contests, they know this country was built by people just like me who work very hard and don't have everything handed to them on a silver spoon...No, they don't ever have to work for anything. They think they can just all of a sudden one day out of the blue waltz right in with no qualifications what's so ever and try to take away what other people have worked very, very hard in their entire lives.  

No, it didn't bother me at all.

hmm...that's interesting
i saw the movie on hbo every once in a while,Tracy Flick seems always to be anxious, agitated, and grumpy.
Resemblance of the two? hmm....i will see the movie differently next time *_<

btw, have a good lunar new year! any plans?
