2008英國水星獎映象三項入圍

眾所矚目的2008英國水星獎於英國倫敦當地時間7/22上午公佈，在這份囊括12張專輯的名單中，不但有去年底掀起一陣Media Hype風波的搖滾大團Radiohead，以及被封為「新Amy Winehouse」僅僅十九歲的靈魂女伶Adele，還有重啟英式搖滾力道的British Sea Power！

迥異於全英音樂獎的主流商業走向，英國水星獎原是其分支，評審由英國與愛爾蘭音樂界代表人組成，後來卻藉其獨特的評審品味獨樹一格，歷屆得獎人包括Suede、Portishead、Pulp等皆曾引領一番音樂潮流。

本次除了Radiohead、Adele、British Sea Power，入圍的尚有Led Zeppelin主唱Robert Plant與Alison Krauss、上上屆水星獎得主Arctic Monkeys主腦Alex Turner另組的新團The Last Shadow Puppets，還有Elbow、Burial、Estelle、Laura Marling、Neon Neon、Portico Quartet、Rachel Unthank and the Winterset。知名音樂網站Pitchfork也列出了今年的遺珠之憾，例如同有「新Amy」稱號的Duffy，引領時尚街頭潮流的M.I.A.，或像是Coldplay、Portishead、Kate Nash等。

2008英國水星獎即將於九月九日公佈。
