NME 2000-2009百大經典出爐！
最新一期的NME特刊，評選出2000至2009十年百大專輯，評審除了NME編輯成員外，還包括了Arctic Monkeys, Carl Barat, The Killers, Jarvis Cocker, Pete Doherty（The Libertines）, Elbow, Johnny Marr（The Smiths）, MGMT, Ian Brown（The Stone Roses）, The Big Pink, Snoop Dogg, Yeah Yeah Yeahs等重量級音樂人，慎重程度和榜單代表性可見一斑。
回顧近十年的樂壇趨勢，新世紀初掀起的後龐克復興（post-punk revival），絕對是最難以忽視的風潮，一群小夥子將七、八O年代搖滾把玩出嶄新的復古聲響，不僅橫掃各大傳媒評價，也成為排行榜上的常勝軍，而NME這個剛出爐的百大榜單，亦呼應了這個後龐克復興的超級炫風，前十名便由The Strokes、The Libertines、Arctic Monkeys、Arcade Fire、Interpol等代表性樂隊攻佔一半名額，而The Libertines和The White Stripes更一口氣拿下兩個席次。
映象唱片本月登場的「硬地搖滾 經典重發」系列的Interpol《Turn On The Bright Lights》和The Libertines《The Libertines》兩張專輯雙雙風光入榜，分別擠進第8和24名，這兩張後龐克復興潮流中具指標性意義的經典專輯，這次在台灣重新發行，特別加收了〈Specialist〉和〈Cyclops〉，還沒入手樂迷們，手腳要加快啦！
