Original Remix

The Black Devil Disco Club's In Dub is apparently a record of "dub" remixes of last year's mystery-shrouded and acclaimed 28 Later. That record and its three-decade-old predecessor, Black Devil's Disco Club, were stunning examples of European electro-disco. 30年前的迪斯可經典「Disco Club」被法國人Bernard Fevre化名為Black Devil Disco Club拿來重新詮釋，以此為概念推出雙張一套的「Black Devil In Dub」專輯，出來的效果竟是如此的Acid、Deep，也有一點點Leftfield。早在Rephlex廠牌時期，Black Devil就是一支非常折衷性的迪斯可、電音組合；如果說「Disco Club」是一張劃時代的迪斯可典範，亦或是叫Bernard Fevre揚名立萬的重要音樂指標，那麼去年轉投Lo Recordings廠牌的專輯「28 After」，再次讓喜愛那種軟綿綿迪斯可(Disco)的樂迷，猶如乘坐時光機器地回到了八Ｏ年代。此次將Black Devil加上Disco Club就變成了Black Devil Disco Club，然而新專輯名稱喚作「Black Devil In Dub」，其實主要取材自「28 After」裡頭的作品加以改編，收錄了En Français、Slide Inside...等6個混音版本，感覺上其實並不特別dub，反倒有Luke Vibert以及Rephlex早期的音樂風格，聽聽看吧。
